I was looking around on the Internet tonight and found a couple of excellent basic cookie hint pages. I guess I knew most of what was on them, but not everything. One of them has a hint for one thing that might be wrong with my butt-ugly butter cookies - which I think I've figured out how to make every time, my big goal in life. lol When I bake I do things with whatever scant knowledge I've accumulated over the years. I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to give readers an idea of the basics I start with. These don't really cover everything I know, but who wants to know everything I know? :-)
If anybody is actually learning how to bake cookies by following along with what I write, maybe they'd like to look here to help establish a baseline of cookie baking knowledge to work from.
